Volunteer Opportunities
At this time, due to hazards arising from the recent weather, the Nature Area is closed and there is no Sunday volunteering.
Ongoing:
Join us every Sunday from 9 am to 12 pm at the Nature Area to help out with gardening, general maintenance, and light construction. All ages are welcome, but children should be old enough to be truly helpful and must remain under the supervision of an adult.
As the Nature Area is located on property owned by Orinda Union School District, all volunteers will be asked to sign a liability waiver.
Additionally, stop by to recycle any used coffee grounds and/or eggshells to be reused at the Nature Area on Sundays between 9 am to 12 pm.
There are also many opportunities for Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Eagle Scouts to perform service projects at the Nature Area.
